The Citroen 2CV, created with the aim of emulating the legendary VW Beetle, was officially presented to the public in 1948 at the Paris Motor Show, obtaining a lukewarm acclaim. A modest welcome that will, however, change over time, in fact, in the last year of production, in 1990, were sold over 5 million of these cars. Today this French car has become a true cult object, there are in fact several 2CV clubs throughout Europe and unusual events such as a 25,000 km tour of Africa.
